Many, like I, hail these games as the best Pokemon games, yes even better than D/P. Why? Take a look!

Who

You. I feel that Johto was the region that made me feel Like I was actually the hero. This may seem wierd but, even though your character couldn't talk, he seemed more lively than, uhh, what's his face, from R/B/Y.

What

Pokemon, duh!! Just joking,the object of this game was similar to all the other games. But what really made it better, was the fact that:
1.You could transfer Pokemon from R/B/Y.
2.You could go back to Kanto, you could even face the GYM leaders!
3.Regarding number 2, you didn't have to face the GYM leaders in order.

When

2000. That golden date, was when Color was introduced to Pokemon, even day and night. This date, would forever change Pokemon games, in general.

Where

Everywhere! I remember when I could walk into school, and tell everyone I finally beat Lance, and I'd get applauded, (in a kid kinda way) instead of now, when I'm pretty sure I'd get laughed at if I did.

How

I dunno. Ask Nintendo. I think that they were feeling very creative at the time. I guess.....
