Honey Trees

Honey trees are a D/P/P exclusive. They are similar to the headbutting trees feature of G/S/C. First, you will have to smear Honey all over a honey tree(You will know a honey tree by the strange golden color is has) and a hungry Pokemon will come to feed.

The Gist of it

Honey trees aren't everywhere, they can be found in these locations:
Route 205, Route 206, Route 207, Route 208, Route 209, Route 210, Route 211, Route 212, Route 213, Route 214, Route 215, Route 218, Route 221, Route 222, Floaroma Meadow, Fuego Ironworks, Valley Windworks and Eterna Forest.

Keep experimenting with different trees, and you may find a tree that draws in rare Pokemon the best. It's all luck, so I can't tell you which tree to pick. xP

If you find yourself out of honey, you could always go to the man in Floaroma Meadow for $100 or you can find them attached to wild Combee.

Once you've smeared your Honey on the tree, you’ll have to leave it alone for a while. Come back in about half a day to check up on it. If you come back too soon, the tree won't have changed. After the half day, your tree should be shaking. The magnitude of which it is shaking can give you some insight of the rarity of the Pokémon inside. The more violently it shakes, the rarer it might be. Also Note: If you don't check your Honey tree within one day, the Pokemon will leave and be lost forever. Make sure to get back in time! Alright, the Pokemon that pops out is random, but the Pokemon you can find are:

Wurmple, Silcoon (Diamond Only), Cascoon (Pearl only), Combee, Burmy, Cherubi, Aipom, Heracross, and Munchlax.
