Welcome to my guide on installing MyBB!

This is one of the first forum softwares, that I have used. I must say that it's G-R-R-EAT, but, it is nothing compared to VBulletin. Note that I will just walk you through the steps , and I may edit this with screenshots later.

Downloading the .zip

First off go to http://myboard.net, and download the latest version of MyBB.

Uploading to your server

Once you have downloaded it, upload the .zip onto your server, and then, it should unzip itself.

Final steps

You should've gotten two directories, one, saying Documentation, and the other saying upload. Rename the upload directory with what you want the name of your forums to be. In my case, I'd just rename it as forum. Make sure you don't use any caps, and no spaces, or dashes etc. Now, you've done everything FTP can do, now, go to http://yoururlhere.com/forumnamehere/install. You'll need to know your MySQL database info, so make sure you have that info.
