Pokemon Platinum

This game is confirmed to be the third installment if the D/P series. It will feature Giratina, thus dispelling all rumors of "Pokemon Girasol". It hasn't been revealed on the role Dialga and Palkia will play in this game seeing as Giratina is the star.

New Features

In one of the screen shots that were revealed, it showed the male character in a new wardrobe. It hasn't been revealed that Dawn will have a new wardrobe, but, I'm sure she'll have one.

It has also been revealed that there is a completely different battle layout, I can't really describe it in words, you have to see it for yourself.

Also, the Sinnoh Underground now has an Ice Area to explore.

Gym Leaders

The Gym leader roster remains the same, except Volkner is no longer the 8th GYM leader. I believe that he may be the champion now, but who knows.

Battle Island

I believe that this is something like the Battle Frontier in Emerald, except it has a D/P/P touch to it.

New Pokemon

Not really, Giratina just has a new form.
